Well not literally. That’s not possible. You’re thinking of “printing money.” That’s not legal. I’m talking about our beloved Xerox Iridesse Production Press that can print in gold, silver and clear ink to make your collateral shine. It’s kind of a big deal. Your regular printers can’t do that. Ours can.
10. High-end printing equipment
I know what you’re thinking: “Duh. Of course you have high-end printers. That’s your whole business.” Well, you’d be surprised. Some “commercial printing” businesses don’t have these high-end machines. We do. We also have dogs. Did we mention that?

You want options? We’ve got options! In fact, we have a whole sample book of options that we’ll give you! Then you can feel the options and see how ink looks on said options. Don’t see the option you were looking for? Then we can order a new option for you. You’ve got options.
12. Print proofs
The proof is in the proof, as the old saying goes (I think). We offer a free press proof for our customers, meaning you get to see your print project exactly as it comes out of the printer. So you to get precisely what you want with no surprises in the end. And that’s free! Not much comes for free these days.
13. Print finishing
Around here, your prints aren’t done until they’re finished. We have a full suite of fancy finishing machines and services to make your print project perfect. We can score, cut, fold, staple, hole punch, spiral bind, wire-o bind, laminate, corner round, sugar-coat, stuff, seal, die cut, shrink wrap, glue, sew, grommet and sort. One of those was fake. Did you catch which one?
14. Design support
YellowDog is like an onion (or parfait)—full of helpful layers. For example, beyond our dedicated print-team, our award-winning in-house design team is right here to create your big idea before it goes to print.
15. Pre-press
Fun fact alert! The term “pre-press” dates back to the days of the printing press when printers had to prepare the moveable type on a slotted board in order to press the inked letters onto a surface to create a print. Now, in our digital era, it means that for every print project we need to specially format your file on a computer for our machines and finishers. It’s a crucial step that (other) people tend to forget.
16. Color-match printing
We pride ourselves on our keen color-matching ability to meet the exact needs of your print project. We can either match to Pantone color codes or print out samples and hand adjust the C, M, Y, or K values to perfection—like little color chemists toiling in our color labs concocting color magic.
17. Digital printing = sustainable printing
Great news! By printing with YellowDog—a digital print studio—you’ll be choosing the greenest form of printing. Plus, the toner (a powder form of color) we use reduces the risk of environmental contamination. Then those empty toner cartridges go right back to Xerox to be refilled and reused. Pretty neat!
18. Small print runs
Because we’re small and nimble, we’re not bound to the kinds of astronomical minimum print runs that larger industrial printers tend to have. So if you need 127 brochures printed, you’ll get exactly that. That means less waste and money back in your pocket.
19. In-hand
Once your perfect print is complete, we offer multiple methods to get the product in your hands. You can pick it up during regular business hours, we can courier to you (within the greater Denver area) or we can ship it to you (preferably somewhere on planet Earth, accessible by truck, plane, or boat).
20. Installation
Not only do we print your large-format projects, but we also install them for you! We’ll happily brave the perils of climbing a ladder to install window vinyls for you. Or even uninstall them if your vinyls are only temporary (like for an elaborate prom-posal, limited-time promotion or one-night event).
